Expectations and No Tolerance Policy
As we gear up for our first day of games this Sunday -- please review the expectations and the no tolerance policy that will be observed by LCGBA. This policy can be found at: https://lcgba.weebly.com/expectations--conduct.html Player Expectations: LCGBA expects every player to adhere to their district's code of conduct and will remain in compliance of that code. LCGBA will default to the Kettle Moraine High School Code of Conduct should a district not provide one. This code of conduct can be found at: https://www.kmsd.edu/cms/lib/WI01919005/Centricity/Domain/219/athletes%20code%20of%20conduct%20handbook--revised%209-14.pdf Coach Expectations: LCGBA expects coaches to contribute to a safe and fun environment by maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting enthusiasm, honesty, and a love for the game of basketball. Coaches are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times, setting a positive representation of good sportsmanship and by being a mature role model for all players. Coaches are expected to aid on the process of developing a positive learning experience, not necessarily a winning experience. Parent Expectations: LCGBA expects parents to adhere to their district's code of conduct and will remain in compliance of that code. Parents will not engage in negative behaviors that are distracting to the game of basketball. Parents will respect the results of the games and the judgments of the referees at all times. Parents engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct will be removed from the gym. Zero Tolerance PolicyLCGBA will not tolerate poor sportsmanship in any form from any individual within Kettle Moraine High School during LCGBA sponsored events. We are a zero tolerance program when it comes to: swearing/cussing, taunting, disrespect of any person, yelling at or arguing with referees, or drug and/or alcohol use. Any action taking in these areas will be dealt with swiftly and may result in the offending party being remove from the premises. LCGBA's main goal is to maintain a safe and fun environment for all individuals to enjoy playing, watching, or coaching the game of basketball. LCGBA will not tolerate individuals who do not contribute to that safe environment for all persons. When can we expect to see the 18-19 schedule posted? I have heard games are scheduled to begin the last weekend of this month?
