Just a reminder -- in terms of sportsmanship, LCGBA has a zero tolerance policy for poor sportsmanship, in any form, from any individual within Kettle Moraine High School during LCGBA sponsored events. The full statement is as follows:
LCGBA will not tolerate poor sportsmanship in any form from any individual within Kettle Moraine High School during LCGBA sponsored events. We are a zero tolerance program when it comes to: swearing/cussing, taunting, disrespect of any person, yelling at or arguing with referees, or drug and/or alcohol use. Any action taken in these areas will be dealt with swiftly and may result in the offending party being remove from the premises. LCGBA's main goal is to maintain a safe and fun environment for all individuals to enjoy playing, watching, or coaching the game of basketball. LCGBA will not tolerate individuals who do not contribute to that safe environment for all persons.
This statement will be printed and published on gym doors and at the bracket wall to ensure all parties are aware of this policy.
Please remember that the LCGBA tournament will consist of a staff of volunteers who may or may not be well educated in basketball. Some of our volunteers are middle and high school students -- please exert patience and understanding towards these individuals.

Welcome! The Lake Country Girls Basketball Association is an organization dedicated to promoting youth girls basketball as a developmental training opportunity for 5th through 8th grade, "B team" girls. It is designed to be directly connected to the residential high school that each team would contribute players to. All teams MUST have a direct relationship with a high school program based upon residence and/or school choice intent of the team makeup. Teams will play 2 games on Sundays at Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, Wisconsin.

LCGBA MISSION
In partnership and oversight by the Kettle Moraine Girls Basketball Club, the mission of the Lake Country Girls Basketball Association is to promote fundamental, sound basketball skills in a safe and positive atmosphere and encourage players to conduct themselves with integrity and respect in order to represent the Kettle Moraine and greater Lake Country communities in a positive manner. It is the goal of the association to serve the community by aiding in the development of prepared athletes who will be an asset to their respective high school program and their communities.
LCGBA PHILOSOPHY
LCGBA is designed to provide girls who reside or attend schools in Southeastern Wisconsin (Lake Country area) the opportunity to participate in structured basketball games and tournaments that are in alignment with individual skills and abilities.
LCGBA's efforts are ultimately directed at the developoment and opportunities of players who hold positions on "B" level teams, not select teams. Based on this objective, LCGBA reserves the right to withdraw advanced or "A" level teams from competition.
LCGBA believes that basketball is a fun game, and there is no reason why basketball at this level should be anything but fun. We expect that coaches who participate in this league are focused to and committed to the development of their players but do not lose sight of the fact that enjoyment of the game is central to the coaching and playing process.
LCGBA believes that the development of our athletes will be best served with hard work, dedicated coaching, and a positive athletic experience. We expect player development on the court through knowledge of the game, skill development, and off the court with dedication to community and respect for families.
LCGBA believes each player has a role on the team and while that role and and must change through player improvement, we promote positive team enrichment and transparent coaching practices.
LCGBA believes that each player should have a positive experience on and off the court.
